Fish A La Orange

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 pounds any big fish slices
  • Juice of 2 oranges
  • Salt and pepper
  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ cup plain breadcrumbs
  • Butter, to butter the baking dish












DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Wash fish slices and pat dry. Place in a place in a pan. Drizzle with the orange juice. Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  3. Combine flour, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper. Dip each fish slice to coat well.
  4. In a buttered baking dish place fish slices and bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove from the oven.

Romama’s Note: The Fish A La Orange can be served with butter sautéed leeks and garnished with orange slices.
